The Trust is designed to profit from both under and overvalued securities, and also offers a unique opportunity to participate in private equity investments.
Managed by a team of Sentry Select’s top portfolio managers, the Fund invests in a portfolio of Canadian equity and equity-related securities, including income trusts. The managers use a long-short strategy with, a long bias. Up to 25% of the portfolio will be invested in securities of private companies that the investment manager believes to be near-term initial public offering candidates.
